Where the fertile slopes of the Val di Chiana in the Province of Arezzo meet those in the Province of Siena is the ancient fortified town of Lucignano and a farm estate called “Agriturismo Casa Elisa”. This ancient farmhouse is divided into two apartments and
has as a backdrop the ancient castles of Lucignano, Scrofiano, Farnetella and Sinalunga. The owner lives in the house close by. Once the scene of crude battles for control of the area between the forces of Siena and Arezzo these towns today with their medieval buildings and streets are major tourist attractions. The two apartments have a communal entrance, an internal staircase, and have managed to keep their ancient look. They are furnished comfortably Tuscan style. A large fenced garden has covered carport, barbecue, garden furniture and a 6x12 m swimming pool, deep 1,40 m. Table tennis, volley-ball ground and a communal laundry room are at guests disposal. Mountain bikes can be rented in the farm. On request the owner can prepare the breakfast.
